Frequently Asked Questions About Our Trips

Yes. All anglers must purchase an Arizona Game and Fish Department license prior to the trip. These can be easily purchased online before you arrive at the water.

Absolutely. We specialize in teaching newcomers the fundamentals, from basic casting mechanics to reading the water, in a completely stress-free environment.

Dress in comfortable, weather-appropriate layers. We highly recommend polarized sunglasses to protect your eyes and help you spot trout beneath the surface, along with sun protection. We provide the waders and boots.

To protect our delicate local fisheries and ensure great fishing for future generations, all our trips practice strict catch-and-release. Douglas will happily take high-quality photos of your catch before safely returning it to the river!
